Welcome to the King’s Kidz Children’s Ministry site page! We are excited to announce that King’s Kidz launched on April 3, 2016. We have a fresh new space, new curriculum, and much more. Interested in keeping up to date on what’s going on? Like us on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/ROLkingskidz/
Vision: The children will know how much they are valued and loved; and they will learn how to love, encourage, and inspire others through Holy Spirit leading and teaching at the King’s Kidz ministry.
Mission: Teach our children to worship, pray, and prophesy in the name of the Lord.
Goal: Our goal is for our children to learn, grow, and have tons of fun in the presence of God.
Age Group: 4 – 12 years old
Meeting Time: Every Sunday morning at 10:05am, the kids worship with their families in the sanctuary and then gather together in the children’s ministry space for teaching, activities, fun, and snacks.
Note: Only on the last Sunday of the month with 5 weeks do the kids attend a full King’s Kidz service. We call this day our Bible Bucks Sunday. This service includes worship, teaching, birthday celebrations, shopping, snacks, and more.
Snacks: Veggie Straws, Famous Amos Chocolate Chip cookies, Ritz Crackers ‘n Cheese Dip, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish, Pretzels, and more. Beverage: water.
Note: If your child has known allergies, please make sure we have it logged in our system at the time of check-in. A King’s Kidz volunteer will be happy to assist you.
Check-In: Parents/Legal Guardians are required to check-in their child via our automated check-in system. At the time of check-in, you will be given a unique security code to be used at the time of check-out. Also, if there is a need to contact you during the service, we will use the security code to connect with you.
Children’s Minister: Christina Antunez
Family: My husband Carlos and I have been married since May 2015.
Saved: I was saved when I was eleven during a revival service in my home church in NYC. The revival service was a result of the Brownsville revival that the residents of Pensacola, FL experienced. I was saved then, but I did not fully surrender my life to the Lord until April 2014.
Education: B.S. Christian Ministries from King’s university.
Previous Lines of Work: I am currently employed with a multiple service provider as an enterprise manager. I have been employed with the same company for 12+ years.
What do you like to do in your free time? Spend time with my husband, read, and journal, discover new eateries, watch movies, and travel.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received? Don’t look to your left or to your right, just keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. It will help you see all things from God’s perspective.
If you could spend lunch time with one person, living or dead, who would it be? King David. His story has blessed my life.
What might people find fascinating about you? I was diagnosed with a cerebral aneurysm in March 2014. I was told that it could rupture at any time and cause severe complications and possibly death. I scheduled brain surgery to clip the aneurysm for April 25, 2014, however 12 hours prior to surgery, a preliminary test revealed that the aneurysm reduced in size without any explanation. The surgery was called off! I know God performed a miracle in me that day. God’s miracle changed my life. Since then, I fully surrendered my life to God. I have been set free since, and have never been the same again. God is always faithful, and the work He began in you, He will complete it.
Get Involved: Do you have a desire to teach? Are you talented in the creative arts, web design, or music? Are you gifted in administration? If you have abilities, skills, and talents that can help King’s Kidz continue to grow, we want to hear from you. Come join our team and laugh, have fun, and inspire the kids to be all that God called them to be.
