Be Strong and Courageous!
Hey Church,
Pastor's teachings on Joshua have really ministered to me. We see that Joshua was put in charge of the nation of Israel after Moses died. He may have felt lonely at times, knowing that so many people followed him, but during his time with Moses he learned what it meant to truly follow God. He learned that God is a miracle worker, that He's always with them. He also learned how to spend time with God, and that the real power is found in God's presence, and in our obedience to Him and His Word. We see Rahab explain how the enemies of the Lord melt in fear. They already accepted their defeat before it even happened. Sometimes it seems that the believers are the last to realize that they've already won! God is waiting for His people to follow Joshua's example. Spend time with God. Learn of Him. Then, obey. Put into practice His power, His wisdom. God's already victorious and therefore so are we!
