Get Back Up

Hey church! 

Sunday’s message was powerful and an important invitation to keep getting back up after we fall because with Jesus we can get back up, take up our cross and follow Him. “For the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity.”
— Proverbs 24:16

The righteous will fall, but they rise again. Why? Because their foundation isn’t in their own strength, it’s in the Lord. Our falls should lead us to deeper surrender, not defeat.

“If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me…”
— Mark 8:34

The world is constantly fighting for our attention, and the enemy wants to distract us from the One who truly satisfies, Jesus.

“Do not love the world or the things in the world…”
— 1 John 2:15

We’re all going to fall at some point. We will stumble, lose focus, and sometimes allow the world to pull us away from God. But our falling reveals how much we need to surrender.

When we try to live life in our own strength, we can stay down. But when we surrender ourselves completely to Jesus, He is the One who picks us back up.

Surrender means saying, “Jesus, my life is Yours. My plans, my desires, my future, my everything.”

So when we fall, let it drive us closer to Him, not further from Him. Fix your eyes on Jesus, surrender again, and get back up.

Are you completely surrendered to Him?

Let’s give Him everything. Not because He needs it, but because He is worthy of it all.
