Now or Never

Hi River,

What an amazing day we had on Sunday! It's such a blessing to hear the testimonies of God's goodness, mercy, forgiveness, healing, and deliverance! I think too often we think God only shows up Sunday morning. But God is always at work in our lives. Sometimes miracles happen instantly, sometimes they take decades, and sometimes we may never see things pan out the way we hope. But God is faithful in all things. In Luke 5, we see the story of the man lowered through the roof to be healed by Jesus. What a display of faith, and Jesus healed him! Later in chapter 8, we see how there is a woman who has spent everything she had to receive healing from her illness. She touched His robe in faith, and Jesus made her well! These miracles were amazing, and sometimes we can get discouraged because they appear to be instant. But we know that the woman struggled for 12 years, spending everything she had to no avail. Whether we receive our miracles immediately or over time we can always put our faith in God because of His display of faithfulness and love. In Daniel 3, we see the men being put into the furnace, and they were content even if God didn't deliver them. God loves us unconditionally and wants us to share our desires with Him. He's our loving father. He knows what we need and His timing is perfect. No matter what comes, God is good and always deserves our praise!
