Hey Church,

What a powerful message of healing Sunday! I felt moved to build on Pastor Danny Thornton's message by emphasizing the need for God's perspective in our lives. We are constantly met with challenges in our lives that weigh us down. And then while we're at our lowest we're attacked with the devil's lies that make us doubt God's love and His plan. I pray that this week we stand on God's word and His promises despite how things may look or feel. I pray that our perspective shifts. When we're in the trenches it's hard to see what's really going on in the battlefield. To get a better understanding of something, it helps to see things from a "ten-thousand foot" view. The higher our view, the better our perspective, and there's no higher or better view than that of God. He sees it all, and because of his infinite view through eternity, there are no surprises for Him. He's orchestrating something in our futures that only He can do. Let's start climbing!

Isaiah 55:8-9
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."
