Worthy is the Lamb

Hey church! 

Worthy is the Lamb! When we lift our voices in worship, we aren’t just singing songs, we’re responding to the One who is worthy of it all. In Revelation 5, heaven erupts with praise: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain.” They worship Jesus not out of habit, but out of revelation! Because they see Him as He truly is.

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!” Revelation 5:12 

Jesus is worthy because He gave Himself for us. He stepped down from glory, carried our sin, bore our shame, and conquered death so we could live forever. No one else has ever loved you like this. No one else could save you like this. No one else sits enthroned above all creation with scars that testify, You were worth the price… What a God we serve. 

When you worship, you’re joining the song of heaven. You’re declaring that Jesus is greater than your worries, greater than your past, and greater than anything this world can offer. Worship lifts your eyes off what’s wrong and refocuses them on the One who is unfailingly good, faithful, and holy. Hallelujah!

I feel the Spirt stirring us to lift high the name of Jesus and declare His worthiness and holiness above all. 

“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him… that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow… and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.” Philippians 2:9-11
