GREETER AND HOSPITALITY MINISTRY

“Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.” (Romans 12:13)

The Greeters and Hospitality Ministry serves to welcome all who attend River Church services and functions, desiring to create opportunities to convey our heart and the love of Jesus to all in a friendly, gracious, and responsive environment.

While all our partners in the church are important parts of a welcoming church body, this ministry’s goal is to help our first-time attendees and newcomers feel at home, refreshed, and connected!

Our Fellowship Hall, outside the sanctuary, is a great place to gather with old and new friends. Come early! Enjoy coffee and food from the Café, and mingle prior and after service. It’s also a place to connect with Life Group and Department Leaders.

After service, the Hospitality Room is a warm and comfortable setting for our first-time attendees to be ministered to in both prayer and hospitality!

The Connect Centre, in the front foyer, is the hub where you can sign up for education opportunities, events, as well as outreach functions.

“Offer hospitality to one another without grudging … faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” (1 Peter 4:9-10)
