What's it like?
From the moment you walk in, you'll get a warm greeting from people ready to help. Grab a cup of coffee at our cafe, find a seat, and get ready to worship.

Worship is contemporary — in the style of Elevation Church, Maverick City, Bethel, and similar artists — and runs about 20–30 minutes, followed by a message that's usually under 40 minutes. Raise your hands and sing, or sit quietly and take it in. However you engage is welcome here.

 Sunday morning services start at 10AM.  We encourage you to come a few minutes early to find a seat, or just ask one of our ushers to assist.    The entrance is in the front of the building.   The accessibility ramp is in the rear side of the church in the back parking lot. 

We have three parking lots: directly behind our building, next door at the St. Joseph's building, and a second lot across the street from the rear of the church. There's no parking in front of the church. Look for the River Church parking signs to guide you.

Yes - we'd love to care for your kids! All children's volunteers pass a background check and go through careful screening before serving. We offer weekly ministry for toddlers (ages 1–3) and children (ages 4–12).

Yes. Our youth group meets every other Sunday for students in grades 6–12.

 Whatever you're comfortable in, there's no dress code. Business casual, jeans, a suit, a dress, it's all welcome. What matters to us is what's on the inside: "People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."  

 We have regular announcements each week at our service.  We also send out weekly emails, texts and of course Facebook/Instagram @syracuseriver.    There is also a Hub Spot in the sanctuary to sign up for events and get involved.
