Hey Church,

I loved hearing about the journey that God took Jacob on. We, like Jacob, are going through this journey called life. We're faced with many challenges along the way, some caused by own mistakes, some caused by the enemy to God's plan in our lives. Despite all the struggles that Jacob went through, he maintained a boldness that God honored. He fought for Isaac's blessing, fought for his wife, for his nation, and God blessed him abundantly. He'd seen God do wonderful things in his life, and with each step along the way his faith was able to increase.

We often thing that our journey is insignificant, and we let all the "what ifs" in life rob us of the joy in chasing our God-given dreams. But as we come out of Thanksgiving, we can think back on all that He has done. We can read about all the times he's proven himself faithful in scripture, and we have countless examples in our own lives, many of which only God knows. Like Jacob went from faith to faith, we too can reflect on His faithfulness, then march forward or even take that leap of faith, knowing that God will always catch us!
